Why our beaucrats and politicians are so poor in English? In this age of globalization where English is a major international or rather global language the Graduates from DU English department must act as path finder. Bangladesh must set up TAFE type English language learning institutes and train its manpower before sending abroad. Yes it is good to hear about role models. In our society everywhere role models are getting thinner in nos. If English Department had role models and Department itself is light house please show the nation the way. Excellent write up.
