When the USA had invaded Iraq under the "Bush Doctrine" of "regime change", under the men in uniform, many of Iraq's heritage collections, dating back to antiquity, were stolen and plundered! They haven't been recovered, and nobody has been made accountable!

Although Bangladesh hasn't been invaded militarily, a situation similar to Iraq exists through "regime change" under te Indo-American tutelage of the current Care-taker Government and "Emergency". The men in uniform and the men in arms are dictating and ruling the country. And, similar to Iraq's fate of its national wealth, including Oil, being looted and plundered, so are ours.

Are Ayub Quadri and his likes serving their foreign masters, or are they serving the people - the Nation and the State? What positives have come out of this so-called Care-Taker Government? Everyday we see and hear all negative outcomes, such as this unprecedented and latest Guimet scandal that has deprived Bangladesh of its heritage artifacts!

Economy and industry have already been ruined and laid to waste! Now this Guimet affair under the subterguge of which ancient artifacts of our cultural and historical heritage are being looted! How much more losses shall Bangladesh be subjected to by this usurper Government? Will Bangladesh become another Iraq or an Angola? Will Bangladesh under its military become another Pakistan?

I am really confused:

BDNews24 says:

Dhaka, Dec 26 -- Cultural affairs adviser Ayub Quadri has resigned. Talking to bdnews24.com by phone Wednesday night, Quadri said he turned in his resignation letter to the Cabinet Division at 4:30 pm -- addressed to President Iajuddin Ahmed.

Whereas Amader Shomoy makes headline Quadri withdrew his resignation one day later:

Quadri gave resignation Tuesday afternoon to the chief adviser. The chief adviser talked with him twice on Tuesday night. He met the chief adviser on Wednesday morning and told about his withdrawal of resignation. He also participated in advisers' meeting.

If BDNews24 has the latest information then why this drama?

Today is a black day in our national life. We are in the midst of not only an unconstitutional illegitimate government but also a thoroughly incompetent one. These irresponsible guys are selling Bangladesh's interests to their foreign masters one after another.

The Dutch in Indonesia and the English in India could not have dared to do what this foreign-blessed illegal government is doing. This government has gone far beyond what it's one and only task was -- to hold an early and credible election as fast as possible. I am sure it will fail and falter in this regard and ultimately be booted out of power through people's uprising!

When you hear stories about the advisers' spending spree on trips abroad and extravaganzas at home you are tempted to question the actual motive of this imposed-from-abroad government. The country is basically being run by a thoroughly incompetent bunch of people picked from a particular family. These guys will one day face the same hand of law that it had used to defame others politically.
